SE Portland Bathroom Remodel Just Completed

Renaissance Renovations has been busy with several projects. We recently completed work on a 1950s SE Portland bungalow hall bath. The original footprint was approximately 8’ x 10’ and had an original cast iron bathtub that was removed.

The entire main floor bath was renovated and included a new tiled shower with grab bar, tiled in bench, recessed shelf, frameless clear glass shower enclosure, adjustable shower head on a slide bar, hand sprayer and a recessed shower rated can light above.

An extra 2’ of floor space was taken from an adjacent bedroom and enabled more storage to be included. The remodel included a stand alone vintage pedestal sink with towel hanging bars, built in medicine cabinet with sconce lights, subway tiled wainscoting around entire bath perimeter and new Marmoleum flooring.

The bathroom remodel included all new wiring, new plumbing drain and vent lines as well as new exterior wall insulation, attic insulation and interior wall sound insulation. The homeowner worked with our design team to develop a layout that encorporated their needs, then they selected products and colors in our Lake Oswego Design Studio. The entire job was completed from start to finish in 13 working days under the $20,000 budget.
