Countrywide Home Loans

Renaissance has enjoyed its relationship with Countrywide because they continuously provide Renaissance buyers with excellence in customer service, home closing cost discounts, interest rate protection during construction, and reliable, on-time closings.

  • Countrywide features programs with as little as no down payment, and surprisingly low fees. They will also show you ways to avoid mortgage insurance and lower your monthly payments.
  • Countrywide's Builder Rate Cap Program* provides a ceiling on an interest rate while your home is under construction. You can protect your rate and rest assured that your home buying affordability won't change, even if rates do. The program also includes a no-charge, float-down feature which enables you to take advantage of the lowest possible rate, should rates improve during the construction period.
  • Although Renaissance home buyers can finance their new home through any lender, prior to starting construction Renaissance must be assured homebuyers' creditworthiness--and this requires homebuyers to contact the Lake Oswego Countrywide office to apply and qualify for an UpFront Approval** certificate at no charge within ten days of signing a purchase agreement.
