Renaissance Homes has opened its second
Southwest Washington residential neighborhood, the $17
million, 21-lot Renaissance Summit on one of the last
remaining view parcels on Prune Hill.
Homes in Renaissance Summit currently
run from 2,887 square feet with three bedrooms and 2.5
baths to 4,573 square feet five bedrooms and 4.5 baths.
All homes feature three car garages and five premium
lots are being held back for new designs currently being
developed.
Base prices range from $667,000 to
$997,900.
“This is one of the most spectacular
sites we’ve ever had. It’s at the top of
Prune Hill, has some flat lots and contains a 3.65-acre
lake. There are a lot of nice properties on Prune Hill,
but with the lake and the views, I think you can say
that the best was saved for last,” said Randy
Sebastian, Renaissance Homes president.
A 4,573-square-foot Avalon Northwest
model was opened on the property in mid-March.
Of the 15 homes currently being marketed,
nine had been sold by the time the model was opened
leading company officials to predict the remainder will
be sold out within six months.
Renaissance Sales and Marketing Vice
President Kim Whitman described the early buyers as
“an interesting mix geographically with four from
Portland, two from Camas and three from out of state,
executives and professionals who are working in Washington.”

Garden Isle Estates on Salmon Creek
was the first Renaissance Vancouver neighborhood on
Salmon Creek Ave. at NE 128th . Three homes remain unsold
there. The firm expects to announce sales opening over
the next few weeks at two more neighborhoods north of
Garden Isle Estates on NE 29th Ave. Reservations are
currently being taken for the 21-home Salmon Creek at
Renaissance Summit and the 16-lot Renaissance Meadow
is expected to be open for sales by June.
They are some of up to 800 homes Renaissance
expects to build in Vancouver and Camas over the next
two years.
Renaissance Homes is the only metropolitan
area builder its size to embrace “green”
building in all its homes. All Renaissance homes are
built to its “Living Green” specifications,
which means homes must meet and exceed the Earth Advantage
green building program. Living Green includes the Rainscreen
siding system, which allows the home to “breathe”,
preventing mold-causing moisture build-up.
Besides Vancouver, Renaissance has
neighborhoods underway in Sherwood, Happy Valley, Wilsonville,
Beaverton, West Linn, northwest Portland and recently
announced plans to build around 300 homes in Bend in
Central Oregon.
