Builders at the $22.5 million The
Ridge just off Summit in West Linn have scheduled a
grand opening for the 27-home neighborhood Jan. 20-21,
according to Kathy Whitman, Broker with Renaissance
Homes, who is co-ordinating sales activities for the
seven builders involved in the project.
“We wanted to wait until we had
enough homes finished or pretty close to finished to
begin a concentrated sales efforts,” said Whitman,
who is working with other brokers in the area on what
she describes as “this very upscale neighborhood
which has been carved out of a hillside above the Willamette
river in a mature neighborhood of other fine homes.”
Currently 12 homes have been completed
and each of the five builders’ work is represented
so “people can really get a good idea of the breadth
that’s represented here,” Whitman said.
Homes at The Ridge run from 3,366-square
feet to 4,339 square feet with four bedrooms and 3.5
baths. Prices currently range from $729,000 to $1.059
million.
“People are going to love the
peace and quite of this neighborhood. There is no through
street. The only traffic here is coming to this neighborhood,”
Whitman said.
Renaissance Homes President Randy Sebastian
assembled the parcel a couple years ago but decided
to sell lots to a selected handful of other builders
because he was able to get a larger parcel nearby which
has become Rosemont Pointe.
“We wanted builders who would compliment our upscale
finishing touches,” said Sebastian, who kept four
homes for his firm at The Ridge.
Other builders include Olsen Homes,
Lee Land Homes, Blackstone development, Hymark Homes,
Scott Haskins, and Homes of Europe.
