Renaissance Homes Opens Third North Vancouver Neighborhood

Renaissance Homes is taking reservations on its third Vancouver area neighborhood on NE 29th Avenue near the Washington State University campus and Legacy hospital.

Infrastructure work has been completed on the 69-home Renaissance Vista on NE 29th Ave. At NE 170th street, about a mile north of the firm’s Salmon Creek neighborhood, where the Renaissance Vista sales office will be located. Sales office address is 2898 NE 145th Circle.

Renaissance Vista will contain homes ranging from 2,528 square feet with three bedrooms and 2.5 baths to 3,347 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 2.25 baths. Base prices are expected to run from $489,900 to $599,900.

“This is one of Vancouver’s fastest growing areas. Land is available for appropriately sized neighborhoods. Schools are good. It’s close to freeways. Altogether this is a great area for families,” said Renaissance President Randy Sebastian.
Following the short reservation period, sales at Renaissance Vista are expected to open in late May or early June.

“We’ve already got a list of people who have expressed interest in this site and expect that interest to magnify when we’re actually taking reservations and later when we begin sales,” said Julie Dunn, director of sales and marketing for Renaissance.

The firm has been concentrating on sales at its existing two nearby neighborhoods, one of which has been a little more upscale, featuring larger lots.

“This will be a nice compliment to Renassance Meadows which has larger lots and homes. Renaissance Vista will help us offer a greater variety of housing in this part of Vancouver. If you look around the immediate neighborhoods, the houses are just maturing to the point that I think people have substantial equity and will be looking for that step up to a newer home with Renaissance’ high quality interior finishes and emphasis on green building. Our homes are more energy efficient, have better indoor quality and use sustainable materials,” Dunn said.

Renaissance Vista will feature an eight acre habitat reserve bordered by a walking path to the east and north of the nearly 20-acre property. It also is across NE 29th from a proposed county park.

More information on Renassance Vista is available from Sharlene Castle at 360-518-0723 of from the firm’s web site, www.renaissance-homes.com.

Renaissance Homes is one of the area’s largest residential builders and was the first of its kind to commit to 100 percent “green” building. Besides Vancouver, it currently has neighborhoods underway in Camas, Beaverton, Sherwood, Wilsonville, Forest Grove, southwest Portland and in the Bend area of Central Oregon.
