RENAISSANCE APPLIES FINISHING TOUCHES TO
BEND DESIGN CENTER

BEND, OR – Renaissance Homes is pleased to announce the upcoming opening of their Bend Design Center. Yesterday they received ‘final occupancy’ from the city of Bend and are moving product in the showroom to prepare for the grand opening. Over 120 trades, and numerous Renaissance staff members, have worked on the Design Center. The collective expertise has designed a 3,500 square foot showroom located between Colorado and Arizona Avenue near the Old Mill District.

The Bend Design Center will offer a wide range of options including structural, HVAC, millwork, lighting, flooring, plumbing, outdoor living, appliances, counters, window coverings, fireplaces, interior and exterior paint and stone selections. “We are excited to incorporate new green products to our offering adding to our Living Green program,” said company president, Randy Sebastian. Some of the most popular green features are bamboo flooring, tankless water heaters, and other products such as solar energy generation and Energy Recovery Ventilators just name a few. The Center itself is a place where homebuyers are able to fully personalize their homes.

Renaissance will offer a Preview Night to allow homebuyers and prospective buyers browse time, to meet our staff, and tour the design center at their leisure. “Even before the sale is complete, each prospect is invited to attend a preview night where we are able to meet with these clients and let them know how excited we are to help them design their home. We want everyone to feel welcomed and encouraged to take their time personalizing their home,” said JaAnn Haidet, Design Center Manager. Community Managers and outside agents are also encouraged to attend and familiarize themselves with the space.

In 2005 Renaissance constructed a new Design Center in Lake Oswego, Oregon after completing a whirlwind tour of 15 design centers across the country. The effort was well worth it. In early 2006 Renaissance won best design center in the country from the National Sales and Marketing Council of the National Association of Homebuilders. Renaissance took what they learned from their cross country tour and the Lake Oswego design center and improved upon the ideas. “We’ve created a place unique to the Bend lifestyle, with included features and designs people are asking for in Central Oregon. Our initial feedback is that our homebuyers are comfortable, and know they will be taken care of well,” said Sebastian.

The environment of the design center is both stimulating and relaxing. “The Center uses color and texture to stimulate homebuyer ideas and encourage them to touch and feel the product choices first hand,” states Haidet. “At the same time, we want them to stay relaxed, so the space is presented more like a home than a retail setting.”

The Renaissance Design Center will be open Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00 by appointment and every Tuesday for Preview night from 4:00 to 7:00PM. Out of town buyers, prospective buyers and agents are accommodated to meet their scheduled demands. JaAnn Haidet is the Design Center Manager in Bend and can be reached at 541-385-7787.

Renaissance Homes is one of the area’s largest builders with neighborhoods underway in Bend, Southwest Portland, Forest Grove, Beaverton, Wilsonville, West Linn, on the OGA golf course at Tukwila, and several in Vancouver and Camas.
