Submitting a Warranty Service Request
to Renaissance Homes Quality Assurance
When you submit a Warranty Service Request to Renaissance
Homes Quality Assurance, you can expect:
- A Quality Assurance Representative will
contact you within two business days
- An assessment appointment, if needed,
within 15 business days
- Resolution of the warranty service request
items within 30 business days (the timeline for some items
may be longer if the product has a long lead time, is
backordered, etc.).
When and how should I submit a
Warranty Service Request?
- Warranty Service Request should be submitted
to the main office. Only written requests will be accepted.
- For functional issues within the One-Year
Warranty period, submit a repair request. Cosmetic items
will be dealt with at the Homeowner Orientation primarily,
or at the One Year Walk-through.
- After the One Year Warranty period,
feel free to contact us for structural issues or information.
When to call the 24-hour Emergency
Answering Service
- Water intrusion—leaking plumbing,
roof, or windows
- Complete loss of water for situations
under our control (Renaissance is not responsible for
loss of water caused by the City, abuse/vandalism, or
acts of God)
- Complete loss of hot water
- Complete loss of electrical power, for
situations under our control (Renaissance is not responsible
for loss of power caused by the City, abuse/vandalism,
or acts of God).
- Sewer back up or spill during the first
year of ownership or spillage of sewer in the crawl space
- Complete loss of heat when the outside
temperature is below 45 degrees
- Gas leaks in the house
Renaissance Quality Assurance Response
to Emergency Service Call
- If the item falls under the categories
above, you will receive a call from the on-call Quality
Assurance Representative within an hour.
- Our Quality Assurance Representative
will then let you know the steps by which your item will
be promptly resolved.
- If the situation is outside these categories,
please submit a Warranty Service Request to our office.
- If you call the Emergency Answering
Service for a non-emergency situation, such as a missed
appointment or cosmetic issue, the message will be relayed
to our office the next business day and processed as a
Warranty Service Request.
